McKelvin didn’t practice Wednesday due to a rib injury suffered in last week’s game.

With Torell Troup going on injured reserve Buffalo’s options for a 3-4 nose tackle are down to two.
Realistically only Marcell Dareus and Kellen Heard are capable of being an effective nose tackle in a 3-4 front for Buffalo now. Of late the Bills have played more of a 4-3 front, so the loss of Troup might not be that severe.

Leodis McKelvin returned to the practice field on Thursday coming off a rib injury and Naaman Roosevelt practiced for a second straight day. It’s left head coach Chan Gailey optimistic about their chances of playing against the Titans Sunday.
