As some may have already read on indystar.com, the Colts' senior consultants made their plans for the immediate future known today at training camp. Senior offensive line coach Howard Mudd said he will retire for good after this season while senior offensive coordinator Tom Moore essentially said he will keep coaching until nobody wants him. We get to interview assistant coaches on Fridays, so for many, it was the first time they talked in a group after they retired early on last offseason due to pension plan concerns, but were allowed to return as consultants. Well, they didn't really discuss that again -- it's personal. But we were all curious to hear from them about anything. I mean the uncertainty of their availability dragged on so long until the NFL clarified its position on consultants, neither man is in the team's media guide.
