Saturday expected to retire with Colts
Jeff Saturday will retire from the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts.
There had been speculation from the moment Saturday said 2012 would be his final season in the league that the Colts would bring back their longtime center so he could retire with the team that brought him into the league. Team officials say Saturday will make the announcement Thursday at the Colts complex.

Is Jeff Saturday Hall of Fame worthy?
Long-time, former Indianapolis Colts quarterback played his last down of football earlier this year as a member of the NFC Pro Bowl squad. One of the most iconic images was when the coaching staffs and NFL officials allowed Saturday to play one final snap with former Colts teammate and now Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. It was long whispered since then that Saturday would sign...
Packers Jeff Saturday: 2012 Player Evaluation and Report Card
Packers C Jeff Saturday
1) Introduction: Before the season, I wrote that Jeff Saturday had to stay healthy. The Packers offensive line, blocking for an MVP quarterback and trying to get a no-huddle offense rolling, had no other option at center. Turns out Saturday was over the hill, and the Packers did, in fact, have another option at center.

ONE LAST TIME
NFC's Saturday snaps ball to AFC's Manning
The Pro Bowl is full of gimmicks and the 2013 version was no different. Jeff Saturday spent most of his career snapping the ball in Indianapolis to quarterback Peyton Manning. Every game that Manning played in Indianapolis occurred with Saturday as the center. This year both players left Indianapolis as Manning went to Denver and Saturday headed to Green Bay. Both ended up in Hawaii...
Packers News: Jeff Saturday will retire
Former Packers C Jeff Saturday will retire
ProFootballTalk is reporting that Jeff Saturday, a 14-year veteran, will reportedly retire after the Pro Bowl.
“We’ll finish it with sunsets in Hawaii and call it a much better career than I would have anticipated,” Saturday said on 1070 The Fan in Indianapolis.
Prior to coming to Green Bay in 2012, Saturday spent the previous 13...
Packers' Saturday humbled by Pro Bowl nod
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Jeff Saturday has had a very good NFL career. This season, however, the 14-year veteran center struggled to the point that he was replaced in the Packers' starting lineup two games before the playoffs.
But that didn't stop fans, players and coaches from voting Saturday into the Pro Bowl.
While the NFL's annual Pro Bowl game frequently rewards the...

Jeff Saturday should have a bust when it’s all said and done
As week three of the National Football League preseason comes to an end I was looking down the list of the many former North Carolina football players that are now playing at the next level. The one that I kept going back to is a center who has been in the NFL for well over a decade and has snapped the ball for two future Hall of Famers. He came into the league undrafted and might...
Jeff Saturday: Packers Most Important New Player
New Packers C Jeff Saturday
You see that guy on the right? ——>>>>
That’s new Packers center Jeff Saturday. He used to play center for the Colts and snap the ball to Peyton Manning. He was a free agent this offseason and the Packers signed him. Now he’s snapping the ball to Aaron Rodgers.
What’s that? Can you repeat your question? You don’t know what a free...
Thanks for the Memories-Jeff Saturday
The Colts have purged their roster of some of the all time greats, with more farewells in the works. This is the last (hopefully) of a recurring series saying farewell to Colts greats. With the signing of new center Samson Satele, it appears Jeff Saturday is gone as well. Portions of this essay originally appeared in Blue Blue: Tales of Glory of the Indianapolis Colts.

Report: Peyton Manning, Jeff Saturday to Redskins 'Very Likely'
The Colts reportedly plan to draft future franchise quarterback Andrew Luck with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. If that spells the end of Peyton Manning's tenure in Indianapolis, the veteran could end up in the nation's capital. According to ESPN's Bram Weinstein, a source indicates that it's "very likely" that Manning and center Jeff Saturday will...
