Tennessee’s Peerless Price appears to be on the run.
There was an interesting post on Deadspin today with a lawyer asking for help in locating the former Volunteer receiver. According to the lawyer, he’s trying to forclose on Price’s house outside Atlanta. We have nothing but conjecture at the point but, needless to say, it looks like Price is in some financial trouble.
We recently listed price in our Top 10 Disappearing Acts among ex-college football players. The last most people saw of him was playing in the Tennessee alumni flag football game during UT’s spring game. Price was a key part of Tennessee’s 1998 national championship team.
