Tom Brady received some good news Wednesday: The quarterback's blindside protector is returning to the practice field. After battling an illness the past few days, New England Patriots left tackle Matt Light is expected to work during Wednesday afternoon's session at Indianapolis Colts headquarters. "We're hoping he can do a little bit and get back out there," Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said during his Wednesday morning news conference. Light has served as Brady's primary left tackle since the 2001 season. The 33-year-old Light has 153 career regular-season starts. He was re-signed to a two-year, $12 million contract in the offseason. Light's presence will be key to stopping New York's fierce pass rush, something the Patriots have struggled doing in their past two games against the Giants.
