TEAMS: Detroit Lions
Three Detroit Lions linebackers, Ashlee Palmer, Travis Lewis and Tahir Whitehead, will continue on in heavy rotation when training camp starts. The coaching staff gave all three equal opportunities to work with the first team during minicamp. “As far I know, nothing’s going to change,” Whitehead said, via Carlos Monarrez  of the Detroit Free Press. “It’s the same rotation. We’re going to roll guys in, we’re going to get a chance to run with the first team and we’re going to keep the same rotation throughout camp." “Hey, best man will win. We’re all good," he added. Whitehead is entering his second year and is looking to improve what he learned and correct a few issues, especially his communication with teammates on the field. “First and foremost I felt a lot better than last year,” he said. “Everything I’m doing this year is just really comparing what I’m doing this year to last year, the way I’m approaching everything, the way I’m feeling on the field, the way I watch film. Everything.”
