The Lions have had a rough go of it in 2012, and internal problems haven't helped. Possibly the biggest issue they've dealt with this season has been second year receiver Titus Young. As you may, or may not, recall, Young supposedly sabotaged the Lions' offense, lining up wrong on multiple occasions. The allegations led to his benching following the Lions' loss to the Green Bay Packers in week eleven. Young has since returned to practice with the Lions, but that doesn't mean he's being welcomed back. Lions center Dominic Raiola said, per Chris McCosky, "We've moved on from him. 4 Comments:
  • Maybe he doesn't like playing with a dirty team. Hope he goes somewhere else next year where he will be appriciated.
  • Lions need to find themselves a better coach first. Obviously their current coach doesn't have the desire or ability to keep his players in line. When asked how he would handle Young, Bill Cowher said that he wouldn't even be allowed in the building or anywhere near the team. Shwartz needs to grow some balls and handle his players or lose his job.
  • With a losing season the better players find a way to get off a dud team if it is by being traded or injured they dont want to be blamed for a losing season. You will see alot more of the better players getting injured and creating a way off the field.
  • It doesn't matter, just another disappointing year, sad how bad they can play.I've watched them for 50 year's and they have never been any good,Why do you think Barry Sander's quit..Sad town sad team....
