Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz said Louis Delmas is day-to-day after the safety suffered a left knee injury in the team's 28-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks, Justin Rogers of Mlive reports.
"He had some tests today," Schwartz said. "He's sore. I don't know if I can classify it as a re-injury, but it's the sore knee that's been bothering him throughout training camp and the season. He's a hard worker, a tough guy, we'll try to work through it."
Delmas needed surgery to alleviate soreness in the knee back in August. The recovery took longer than many expected, keeping the safety sidelined through the first four games of the regular season.
Delmas suffered the recent injury in the third quarter while coming up to make a stop on Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch. After bringing the back down, Seahawks tackle Paul McQuistan rolled over the safety's leg. Source: The Redzone Attached Thumbnails
