According to Tom Kowalski, Bobby Carpenter will be starting for Zack Follet on Sunday against the Redskins.
Levy’s back at practice, but he’s not 100 percent for Sunday just yet … still, expect Carpenter to take over Zack Follett’s spot
Carpenter, a former first round pick of the Cowboys, was signed two weeks ago after he was released by the Dolphins. Personally, I don’t know how to react to this yet. This could be another steal by General Manager Martin Mayhew, but Carpenter is on his 4th team in four seasons and 3rd team this season for a reason. He was also cut by Bill Parcells, who had originally drafted him in Dallas with the 18th overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, which isn’t exactly a vote of confidence.
Paula Pasche of the Oakland Press is also reporting that only Andre Fluellen, Will Heller, Shaun Hill and Zack Follett missed today’s practice. Jahvid Best was at practice but was limited.
