Detroit Lions running back Kevin Smith is expected to start in Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders.
Smith missed last week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings with a high ankle sprain suffered against the New Orleans Saints in Week 13.
Smith was acquired by the Lions after running back Jahvid Best suffered a concussion in Week 6. He’s rushed for 229 yards and three touchdowns in four games.
