John T. Greilick / the Detroit News The Lions didn’t waste much time getting free agent running back Reggie Bush to sign on the dotted line Wednesday morning.  Bush was spotted leaving the Allen Park practice facility in a limo mid-morning to go get a physical and by 1:15 PM EDT, an announcement was made that Bush and the Lions had agreed to a four-year $16 million contract. Here are some quotes from Bush’s press conference.  He’s ready to contribute. “It almost seemed too perfect.” “I’m excited to be here. I’m excited to get this thing on the road and get to work because I think it’s going to be a good thing, and I look forward to winning a lot of football games here.” “I’ve done three to four carries a game, I’ve done 20, 25 carries a game.  I’m comfortable when we win.  That’s what I’m most comfortable with and that’s what I’m here for to help this team. Not so much worried about my personal stats. I think I’m at the point in my career now where winning is the most important thing to me, and I felt the same with the coaches and the players here, too.” The Lions also inked cornerback Chris Houston (who has played with the Lions the last three seasons) and safety Glover Quin (former of the Houston Texans) to five-year $25 million contracts.  They also added defensive end/tackle Jason Jones (Southfield, MI native and former Seattle Seahawk) to a three-year $9.5 million deal.
