Fox Sports Detroit:
Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh faces a possible suspension for the second straight year following another Thanksgiving Day incident.
Ray Anderson, executive vice president of football operations for the NFL, confirmed Friday that a decision on Suh will be determined after the weekends games.
That will be one that will be reviewed, Anderson told NFL.com. It drew our attention.
The Lions' next game is Dec. 2 at home against Indianapolis.
The play in question occurred in the first quarter of Detroit's 34-31 overtime loss Thursday to the Houston Texans. Suh kicked Houston quarterback Matt Schaub in the crotch while trying to rush the passer in the pocket.
It was difficult to determine how much initial intent there was on Suhs part because he had been blocked and fallen to the turf when his left foot came up and hit Schaub.
However, Suh appeared to extend his foot a second time, which may or may not be viewed as an intentional act.The NFL will examine multiple replay angles before reaching a decision.
No penalty was called on the play. Schaub was not injured and stayed in the game.
The NFL treats repeat offenders more harshly than first-timers, which wont help Suhs case. He was suspended for two games a year ago at this time after he stomped on Green Bay offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith with his foot during the annual Thanksgiving game.
Suh left the Lions locker room Thursday before talking to reporters after the game. The Lions are off until Tuesday.
Schaub seemed annoyed by both Suh and the incident, but was careful with his words during a post-game news conference. I really dont have anything to say about that play or that person, Schaub told reporters.

ACCIDENT OR INTENTIONAL?
