Phil Richards points out that while Howard Mudd didn't particularly care for either Winston Justice nor Mike McGlynn, both figure to play a large role in improved offensive line play. Mudd, former Colts offensive line coach and now serving the same role in Philadelphia, was incredibly successful while in Indianapolis. As a result, it's quite difficult to accept that two players he struggled to work with as being upgrades over the guys currently on the roster. Justice and McGlynn may be nice role players but they're hardly the guys you build your offensive line around. Justice, who was traded to Indianapolis for what amounts to a ham sandwich, has a history of injuries problems and his technique didn't exactly impress Mudd. McGlynn has started 18 games, most at center. While that's more than a few it's hardly enough to feel great about the transition from Jeff Saturday.
