A local man has finally revealed his brilliant plan for a sign he and his son can bring to the upcoming football game. He had been telling friends and family about an idea that came to him in a dream for weeks. A sign that no one had ever thought of before, one he could hold high over his head without fear of being seen as a lame copycat. "When this idea came to me, it was like it was sent by God, the God of creativity," said the man to a crowd gathered outside his home to hear the news. "Try to stay with me here. This idea is so revolutionary that you may not be able to follow it. What will happen is I will be holding a giant letter D, and my son will be holding a cut-out of a fence. When you put them together is spells Defense!" Sign pundits all around the country hailed the idea as nothing short of brilliant. "This could change everything," said Dr. Frank Andrew, professor of Signtology at Harvard. "For a long time broadcasters have wanted a sign in the audience they could show every single game in the 4th quarter when the home team is trying to make a defensive stop. Now they have one, and I forsee this thing being huge. How did he ever come up with such an idea?"
