25-year-old six-time convicted felon – and Floridian – Gregory Sconiers shot a man in the face, hand, arm and back Sunday while a group of people watched the Cowboys-Eagles game, police report. Sconiers is under arrest on attempted murder charges. According to the Palm Beach Post: According to the affidavit, Sconiers, Bridgett and a group of others were gathered in the carport of a house in the 300 block of Lincoln Lane to cook barbecue and watch football games. Shortly after 8:30 p.m., the men were watching a game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles when a woman got of a car that pulled in front of the house. The woman spoke to Sconiers and then ran back to the vehicle, police said. Moments later, Sconiers stood in front of the television and pointed a dark-colored handgun at Bridgett, the affidavit said. Sconiers reportedly yelled “Animal,” Bridgett’s street name, and then fired several times. Bridgett was struck in the right cheek, left hand and right arm, police said. Kickoff of Sunday night games is scheduled for 8:20. In other words, Darrell Bridgett barely got to watch the game before he was being shuttled to the hospital. He would miss Jerry Jones scratching his balls. We checked on this Sconiers character and he seems like a decent dude. He only has two of his jail mugshots on his Facebook account. As for Bridgett, he claims to be a college graduate. It seems Bridgett learned a valuable lesson Sunday night: Watch Sunday night NFL games at a Buffalo Wild Wings.
