Gordon Edes, of the Boston Globe, spoke with Gene Matos, one of Manny Ramirez's agents today. Before we get to the meat and potatoes of this story, I gotta ask: How many agents does Manny Ramirez have? I picture him like Vinnie Chase on Entourage walking into a big boardroom filled with agents. Except, instead of scripts, they have some G.I. Joe and Ninja Turtle action figures on the table to keep Manny occupied while everyone else discusses his future. Anyway, there were some pretty interesting and exciting bits of news Gordon learned about.
