Former NFL running back and current NFL Network analyst Marshall Faulk doesn’t believe that quarterback Peyton Manning will sign with a team from the NFC.
“The same reason why Eli Manning didn’t go to the San Diego Chargers. It wasn’t because he didn’t want to go to San Diego, it’s because he didn’t want to play in the AFC. We need to see a Manning Super Bowl, that’s what they want, that’s what this family wants. We saw the speculation with the Harbaugh’s when they played each other, and that being a possibility of being a Super Bowl match up. He will not upstage his brother and knock him out of going to the Super Bowl by going to the NFC.”
I understand where Faulk is coming from with his assessment, but I do believe the one team that might entice Manning would be the Arizona Cardinals, because of Larry Fitzgerald and the other weapons they have on their team.
In the end I do believe Manning will sign with an AFC team and I believe it’ll be the Miami Dolphins, but that’s just

He has carried an Indianapolis franchise on his back since being drafted a Volunteer from Tennessee.

The Manning Move…all a part of the master plan?
First off let me say this I am an Indianapolis Colts fan, always have been but for me Peyton Manning was the only quarterback I have known in a Colts uniform. With Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne now both on the market, there has been some talk of the duo shopping themselves as a package deal. Peyton probably won’t limit his options to teams that have interest in signing Reggie, but Wayne may do his best to follow Manning wherever he goes. In fact, it sounds like the former Colts receiver is already crossing his fingers that both can...
