It would not be Dolphins-Jets week if there was not a little bit of public feuding between the two teams heading into their final meeting of the season. Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall stepped to the plate, accusing Jets CB Darrelle Revis of getting unfair treatment from referees on Wednesday.
Marshall thinks Revis gets a little too much leeway regarding contact with receivers, saying Wednesday that Revis benefited from a push-off on an interception made in their first meeting this season.
"You know what my technique could have been better," he said when asked about the play, "but at the same time I think they gave him the 'Jordan Rule.'" In the first quarter of that game, the Dolphins were in the red zone, but Revis intercepted a Matt Moore pass intended for Marshall and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown and a 7-3 lead. Miami would only score 3 more points that night, while the Jets cruised to a 24-6 victory.
