Sunday night Marshawn Lynch signed a four-year, $31 million contract, $18 million guaranteed, with the Seattle Seahawks.
This news came shortly after rumors surfaced that the team would not hesitate to apply the franchise tag if the two parties failed to agree upon a long-term contract.
Lynch rushed for 1,204 yards and 12 touchdowns in the 2011 season.
These numbers helped to ensure that we will be seeing more of Marshawn's skittle scattering celebrations in Seattle’s end zone.

The Seattle Seahawks and Running Back Marshawn Lynch agreed on a four-year contract extension that will pay Lynch $32 million with $18 million in guarantees.
Lynch was one of the biggest surprises in Fantasy Football last season, scoring a Touchdown in 11 straight games. Lynch should get plenty of carries again in 2012, making him a solid RB2 in most Fantasy formats.
