Mike Sando of ESPN.com has a great article up right now that takes a look at the Seahawks recent decision to draft Texas A&M RB Christine Michael in the second-round, and how it could impact the team’s roster moving forward. According to Sando, RB Marshawn Lynch has $5.5 million base salary along with a $2 million roster bonus coming his way in 2015. He’ll also count $9 million against Seattle’s salary cap that season. While this isn’t an absurd amount of money, it’s worth considering that Lynch will be 29-years-old by then. He’s with back spasms in recent years, so an additional two years of wear and tear to his body could end up being a serious concern. Sando is willing to bet against Lynch playing out the final year of contract, so the team will need to have a potential replacement prepared to takeover by then. The pairing of Michael and second-year RB Robert Turbin should be able to handle the ground attack, which could make Lynch expendable at that price.  Another important consideration brought up by Sando is that the Seahawks will have to either work out extensions for CB Richard Sherman and S Earl Thomas or allow them to depart during free agency. On top of that, players like QB Russell Wilson, DE Bruce Irvin, LB Bobby Wagner and OT Russell Okung will all be entering the final year of their contracts, so it’s going to be important for them to ensure that they have plenty of cap space to keep their young nucleolus intact. A lot can change in two years, so this is just an early look at the Seahawks future situation. Still, it’s at least an interesting idea to consider.         The post Marshawn Lynch Unlikely To Finish Out His Current Deal With The Seahawks? appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.
