It's going to be a long week if you're the quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs like Matt Cassel is. People are talking about his status as the starter -- Romeo Crennel talks about it, his teammates are asked about it and of course Arrowhead Pride readers are writing about it.
So, does that bother Cassel?
"I have tunnel vision," the Chiefs QB said on Wednesday, via comments sent out by the Chiefs. " I go out and try to get better each and every day. I know as the quarterback of this team that I've got to do a better job of taking care of the football. That comes first. I take responsibility for that.
"I think the thing is we all need to take better care of the football, and if we do, then we'll be in more of these football games and we'll be a better football team because of it. It starts with me, like I said, and I'm working each and every day to get better, and I will get better."

Kansas City Chiefs players reportedly losing confidence in Matt Cassel
Matt Cassel is under fire right now in Kansas City. After four sub par seasons at best, it seems that Chiefs faithful and his teammates have grown tired of the act. Matt Cassel is the WORST Starting QB in the NFL

Fans getting restless over Cassel's slow start
"I'm not the type of player that looks over his shoulder," Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel said this week. He can hear that, even if he doesn't watch TV or listen to sports talk radio. The 2012 season was the year where...

Report: Chiefs Losing Confidence In QB Matt Cassel -
Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports reports that QB Matt Cassel is losing the confidence of “players and many others” in the Chiefs’ organization with his dismal play of late. Fire Pioli, Bench Cassel Banner To Fly Over Arrowhead On Sunday
The Kansas City Chiefs are owners of a 1-3 record, and all three of their losses have come by 13 points or more. Quarterback Matt Cassel has the 29th-best passer rating among starting quarterbacks in the NFL.
So the 2012 Chiefs season is not off to a great start, and fans, some more than others, are frustrated.
A group of the angrier fans, coming together through Chiefs website...

Chiefs stick with Cassel at quarterback
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Romeo Crennel stepped to the podium in the auditorium beneath Arrowhead Stadium after another embarrassing loss and announced that Matt Cassel will remain the Chiefs' starting quarterback.

Chiefs have most the pieces, can’t put the puzzle together
Like a classic jigsaw puzzle, the Kansas City Chiefs have many of the pieces to make a Superbowl run. But also like every jigsaw puzzle, if you are missing, even one piece, you cannot complete the puzzle. You can’t compensate for the lack of a missing piece, and you can’t force a piece in if it doesn’t fit.The Chiefs have a lot of the puzzle pieces nicely put together.Consider...
Crennel offers tepid support of Cassel
When the head coach walks into his post-game press conference and brings the subject up, then it's obviously a story line coming out of the Chiefs 37-20 loss to San Diego. "I know that there will be some questions about the quarterback," Romeo Crennel said a few minutes into his comments to the media afterwards. "I am staying with (Matt Cassel) and I stayed with...
Chiefs Fans Want To Have An ‘Arrowhead Spring’
Chiefs fans are fed up with the team’s continued tolerance of the suckiness of quarterback Matt Cassel and general manager Scott Pioli. This is completely understandably, save for the fact that deposing Cassel will only likely lead to playing time for Brady Quinn and that isn’t good for anybody. But the general idea of getting rid of Cassel is a sound one.
Kansas City’s fan...
If Chiefs fans want to see an ‘inept’ player ‘constantly making poor decisions,’ Romeo Crennel should yank Matt Cassel and insert Brady Quinn

The Ravens are 3-1 coming off 10 days rest while the struggling Chiefs are 1-3. After struggling in their lone road game, there is some concern with how the Baltimore Ravens' no-huddle offense will perform Sunday at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium, historically one of the league's loudest venues.
Although the noise can be deafening, the fans there haven't had much to cheer about.
Coming back from a well-deserved break, the rejuvenated Ravens...
