Getty Images At a recent charity event at a local Chicago high school, Bears running back Matt Forte admitted that he’ll play this season, despite the fact that he doesn’t have the long-term deal he’s looking for. “I don’t think I really have a choice, do I?” Forte said. “Yeah, I’ll be here.” “It’s going to be a fun season,” he said. “I’m excited to get in there and talk to Mr. (Jeremy) Bates and get in there with Jay (Cutler) and see what he thinks about the passing game, and see how I can get involved in that, too,” said Forte. If Forte is going to get a new contract, it’s going to need to happen by July 16th, or else he’ll be forced to play under the franchise tag this season.  In the end, he really won’t have a choice but play this year.
