It’s very possible by the time this post comes out, people will have figured out about Matt Ryan and what he can do for their team.  I get that but right now I’m looking at a quarterback who is being overlooked given his set-up.  Though I’m sure he won’t hold here, having him currently sit as the 16th best QB off the board behind Matt Schaub and – YIKES – Tim Tebow according to Mock Draft Central makes me feel I need to defend him in 500 words or less.  Your honor, I object!  On what grounds?  Um, he’s better than that…man, I need to pay more attention to these law dramas.  Anyways, Ryan finished as the 8th best quarterback according to ESPN’s player rater.  So how does he get ranked at half price come draft day?  I don’t know, the jury is still out on that (sorry, still thinking about that law drama thing). So you have to keep in mind this isn’t exactly a sleeper piece since it’s about a guy that will most likely be drafted as a QB1.  I know, kinda a weird quarterback to wri

Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub proclaims he’s 100 percent healthy

The Houston Texans are the preseason favorite to repeat as AFC South divisional champions and in some circles, are a trendy pick to represent the AFC in this year’s Super Bowl after heading deep into the playoffs last season. The Texans achieved their franchise first playoff berth last season with rookie QB T.J. Yates under center, but will start the season with veteran Matt Schaub...

The Dark Schaub Of The Moon – KSK Kontent Klearinghouse

This Matt Schaub illustration comes via Reddit. Appears to be inspired by the old hipster Three Wolves shirt. Accordingly, I move for the artist to screenprint this image and make it available for sale. We need more team apparel that lovingly mocks a team’s own star players. Like most people, I don’t care about the Texans but I’d still get one. - Ronnie Brown said despite...

Texans’ Matt Schaub says he’s 100%

Matt Schaub suffered a broken foot week 11 last year, effectively killing the then 7-3 Texans’ Super Bowl chances, which were just starting to look promising. TJ Yates played admirably and probably better than anyone would have expected, but the Texans still lost in the AFC Semis to the Baltimore Ravens. Now 7 months removed from the injury, Schaub says he’s 100%. He won’t...

The Texans were much better than the Titans in 2011

Lately, I've seen some chatter about how the Titans are being unfairly neglected in talking about who might win the AFC South in 2012. After all, the thinking goes, the Titans only finished one game behind the Texans in 2011, and in the offseason the Texans got worse and the Titans got better. The AFC South, so goes the line of argument, should be a very competitive race at the...
