Injury prone? Don’t utter those words to Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey, he doesn’t like them one bit.
Despite what he wants to hear, two consecutive seasons have ended with him on the bench injured.
“I think it really bothered him that he was questioned a little bit at the end of the year,” Steelers offensive line coach Sean Kugler said. “He is out to prove something this year, let me tell you that.” According to Triblive.com.
Pouncy, the two-time Pro Bowl center injured his right knee on the first play of Thursday’s game against Tennessee when tackle Marcus Gilbert was knocked to the ground by the Titans’ Derrick Morgan and into Pouncey’s leg.… Read more
