Wes Welker has been locked into contract negotiations with the New England Patriots virtually since the moment the Patriots walked off the field after their Super Bowl loss to the New York Giants but there has been very little progress. Instead Welker has had the pleasure of watching the Patriots receiving core get a whole lot deeper over the offseason.
The latest signing is an ex-Patriot and former favorite target of Tom Brady’s, Jabar Gaffney. Gaffney left the Patriots’ organization in 2009 to join offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels in Denver but McDaniels came back to New England at the end of last year. It seems that Gaffney has decided to rejoin his former coordinator once again. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE »
  • Gaffney is not the posession receiver that Welker is.
  • None of those WR's can hang with Welker and if the Pats are smart they pay up or trade him for a first round pick so they can try to get a replacment

Welker is perfect in that system though and should stay the Pats havnt had much luck drafting wide outs

Tom Brady 2007 Season - All 50 TD’s (by vcmoss81) It’s pretty crazy that the band is getting back together, except Randy which doesn’t really both me all that much because at this point I think Brandon Lloyd is the better player. I know Gaffney’s signing has a lot of people writing Chad TBD off even moreso, but I’m not so quick to. The Patriots are going to give him a fair...

Patriots sign WR Jabar Gaffney.

It did not take long for Jabar Gaffney to catch on with a team after being released by the Washington Redskins earlier this week. Gaffney will reunite with both the New England Patriots and his on again/off again OC Josh McDaniels who also coached him in Denver. Stability is the word that always comes to mind with Gaffney whose production has never waned. The Patriots have a very...

I firmly believe this man would **** on the sidelines during a game. During an interview with ESPN, Wes Welker revealed something that may seem strange to most people. He said Larry Izzo, former linebacker for the Patriots, once received a game ball for pooping on the sidelines without anybody noticing. Welker joked that the "game ball is probably a more prized item for him...

FOXBORO, Mass. -- Matthew Slater got a rare opportunity to get some snaps at safety against the Cardinals during his rookie season in 2008, and as he jogged backed to the huddle, he looked up and had a "wow" moment as he realized he was listening to Junior Seau give some defensive orders. Slater had plenty of superstar teammates that season, but none like Seau, who actually...
