Philly Sports World:
The 6-0 Falcons play the 3-3 Eagles today at the Linc and all eyes will be on Hurricane Sandy. The approaching storm could and should play a big part in todays matchup with wind gusts expected to reach 35 mph. As we all know, turnovers have plagued the Eagles and Michael Vick all season. Without them, todays game could have been hyped as two 6-0 teams battling for the NFC’s top spot. Would have that not been fun, but let us get back to reality.
If the weather is what is advertised, a shootout at the Linc is highly unlikely. Reid who sets up the run with the pass will have little choice in changing his normal theme, which considering this season’s results to date is a good thing! Along with the short passing game, the Eagles need to control the football and chew up the clock. Big games from McCoy and Celek, the Eagles will be victorious!! We can only hope that the power stays on long enough so we can enjoy taking down the last of the unbeaten!Similar Posts:
