MVN Patriots:
McNabb will not play on Sunday against the Chiefs
After sitting out practice all week it doesn't appear as though Donovan will be back anytime soon. Especially not to make this weeks start against the Kansas City Chiefs.
I think Kolb can take care of the Chiefs, they look like they're lost out there in this first two games of the season. They're 0-2 and haven't really been "challenged".
I'm expecting Kolb to throw for big yardage against the Chiefs. If for some reason you drafted Matt Cassel, sit him this week and start Kolb.
Since McNabb will be out this week, anticipate his start at home against the Tampa Bay Bucs in week 5 (after a week 4 bye). McNabb will have plenty of time to rest but I'm thinking that if he gets a few good shots from the Bucs defense he'll be done for the year. Ribs are pretty fragile, McNabb's a warrior but whats the sense in rushing him back? Kolb did "OK", and against the Chiefs and the Bucs, why risk it ?
