Over this past weekend it was reported that Jets quarterback Tim Tebow refused to be a part of this week’s wild cat package because he was upset that Greg McElroy was named the Jets’ starter over him. ESPN’s Adam Schefter spoke with Tebow who gave him an explanation to try to clear things up, but Merril Hoge wasn’t buying it. “To me it smells like three-day-old fish,” said Hoge. “I think (Tebow) is as phony as a three-dollar bill. Because at the end of the day, what have I heard?
