Inside the Bills:
Bills LB Shawne Merriman was seen heading into the team weight room earlier this week and even tweeted that he’s back to jogging after getting Achilles surgery. Head coach Chan Gailey tried to provide an update on the veteran linebacker’s rehab regimen.
“It really is just things that I’ve heard,” said Gailey in relation to Merriman’s rehab. ”I haven’t talked to him personally. I can only tell you what I’ve heard from our training staff. Everything is on go moving forward. It looked like everything went well in the surgery and it was clean. So hopefully he’ll get a clean bill of healthy and he’ll be closer to 100 percent than he was at any point this season.”
Merriman appeared in just five games this season registering nine tackles and a sack. His Achilles had continued to give him problems and was eventually addressed with season-ending surgery. Merriman’s Achilles however, did not rupture meaning his recovery time should be shorter though no specific timetable was provided.

He had his players develop an expectation of winning when they took the field, not hoping to win. Their current seven-game losing streak however, has robbed them of a lot of their confidence. Now one of their most respected veteran players is wondering...

The Bills only got to Matt Moore one time in their first matchup with the Dolphins in Week 11. The second time around they believe they’ll be a more productive pass rushing unit.
Last in the league in sacks with 19 this season, Buffalo’s defensive staff has tried a countless number of schemes to generate more pass rush. Against a team that’s allowed 44 on the season (2nd most...
