The Miami Dolphins have been major spenders in free agency this offseason, so the fact they added one of the best cornerbacks on the market comes as no surprise.Miami recently signed Brent Grimes to a one-year, $5.5 million dollar deal, which includes $3 million in guaranteed money.This a tremendous addition after the Dolphins lost their two starting cornerbacks the past two years.They traded Vontae Davis to the Colts before last season began and Sean Smith signed as a free agent with the Chiefs earlier this year. The secondary, once a strength now has some holes to fill.Grimes should be able to do just that.While he lacks the size and press coverage skills that Smith and Davis both possessed, Grimes excels in zone coverage and is a ball-hawk. Before tearing his Achilles last year he had posted 12 interceptions in three seasons.
