Sports Illustrated's Peter King is perhaps the best-known NFL writer in the country. Michael Vick is the NFL's biggest lightning rod for media attention. And now, these two media behemoths are locking horns in a Twitter-fueled death match. Or something way less dramatic than that. On Monday, Peter King wrote that Vick's team, the Philadelphia Eagles were sloppy and dumb, and then for some reason, tweeted the exact same thing, but harsher and without context. Those are harsher words than usual from the typically good-natured King. The media picked up on the comments a bit, and someone asked Vick about it. Here was his response. It's a little hard to hear, so if you can't make it out, here's what Vick said: "Dumb and sloppy? I don't even have a comment on that. Unless you played this game, I don't even think you can make comments like that." I'm a fan of Peter King, and I'm a fan of Michael Vick, but I'm going to have to side with King here.
