During the Philadelphia Eagles-New Orleans Saints game Monday night, Michael Vick's brother Marcus went off on Twitter begging the Eagles to trade his brother.   Only reason I said trade was bc I hear all that Nick Foles talk. Honestly who is he? What was his college record at Arizona? #letmeknow — Marcus Vick (@MVFive) November 6, 2012 Michael was unaware of this when he stepped to the podium to address the media following the Eagles 28-13 loss to the Saints. “You say he tweeted that during the game? Sorry, I’m not aware of that,” Vick said. “That’s something that I’m really going to have to address once I leave here.” Vick did his best to downplay the idea. “We out there fighting as hard as we can, giving it everything we’ve got,” Vick said. “That’s certainly not the case. Not the case here. I love each and every guy in that locker room and if I can make every play right, I would. I know they would do the same. So that’s certainly not the case.” Vick finished the night completing 22 passes on 41 attempts for 272 yards and one touchdown and one interception.  He also rushed for 53 yards and fumbled once, and was sacked 7 times.

Marcus Vick Now ‘Sorry’ About Giant Mess He Caused Brother Michael Vick

The ongoing saga of Michael Vick and what his future holds in Philadelphia got more complicated this week when Marcus Vick decided to spend the extent of Monday Night Football tweeting a defense of his brother and saying he wanted to be traded. Marcus Vick’s entertaining rant, which put the blame on just about everybody but his older brother, led to Michael Vick later apologizing...

Michael Vick: Pull up your big boy pants and buckle up

Man stop your wining, Michael. So the media is the cause of the Eagles’ maladies are the media’s fault? He said after practice that the media are “creating turmoil.” Grow a pair of ‘em Michael. See if the line protects you. Show us some umph and we will support you. Andy Reid fired the defensive coordinator and the only reason he didn’t fire his offensive coordinator...

The Design Of Eagles Red Zone Offense Is Poor

Categories: BREAKING NEWS Coaching Staff Eagles NewsTags: Andy ReidClay HarborLeSean McCoyMarty MornhinwegMichael VickPhiladelphia EaglesEagles offensive masterminds Andy Reid and Marty Mornhinweg have not had a good game plan in the red zone.  They don’t have a group of plays which are effectively consistent down there and it’s the reason they can’t punch the ball in...

2 quarterbacks, 2 increasingly desperate teams

Michael Vick and Drew Brees came into the NFL the same year. Now, they're in the same predicament. Both are the quarterbacks of increasingly desperate teams, the season teetering on the edge of collapse. Brees has essentially become a one-man show for the New Orleans Saints (2-5), who are plagued by a historically leaky defense and anemic running game. For Vick, the stakes...

Michael Vick: I talked to Marcus and it won’t happen again

After his brother Marcus tweeted he wanted his brother out of Philadelphia, Michael Vick talked to his brother about not ruining the Vick name anymore (Credit: AP Photo) During Monday night’s game against the New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick had a rough night. His offensive line looked to be one of the worst in the NFL. As the game was playing out...

Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints: Five Things We Learned

I can’t wait to listen to sports talk radio today here in Philadelphia, as I’m sure it will be a blood-bath calling for the firing of Andy Reid, the benching of Michael Vick and a slew of other venomous demands.Last night’s game played right into everything that has been said about the Eagles this season. We saw issues in the red zone for Philadelphia while we saw a passing...

Saints 28, Eagles 13

NEW ORLEANS -- So much for players-only meetings. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick used the occasion of his team's three-game October nosedive to bring his teammates behind closed doors last week in an attempt to hash out their woes. After a 28-13 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Monday night -- the Eagles' fourth consecutive defeat and fifth in six games...

Saints Nation: Defensive and Special Teams Player Grades vs. Eagles

If you had told me before the game that the Saints would sack Michael Vick 7 times and hold the Eagles to 7 points, I would have laughed in your face. If you told me they'd yield 447 yards, I'd absolutely believe you. If you told me both would happen, I'd probably seek to have you institutionalized. But that's exactly what happened oddly enough. Make no mistake, the...

Saints hand Eagles fourth straight loss

Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints are having fun again. They hope it's a sign of things to come in the second half of the season. Michael Vick kept picking himself up off the Superdome turf, the recipient of an awful beating. The Philadelphia Eagles are down -- and nearly out. Brees threw two touchdown passes, extending his NFL record streak to 51 games, and Patrick Robinson...

Rex Ryan Voted The Most Overrated Head Coach In The NFL

To no one’s surprise (except maybe Andy Reid’s), New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan was named the most overrated head coach in the NFL.  The Sporting News conducted a mid-season survey of 103 current NFL players from 27 teams and Rex topped the list. The rest of the list breaks down as follows: Rex Ryan, Jets (35 votes) Bill Belichick, Patriots (16 votes) Andy Reid, Eagles (9...

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles: Three Bold Predictions

In my (biased) mind, I truly think the Eagles vs. Cowboys is the greatest rivalry in the NFL today. Each time the two teams meet, there is always something on the line.Last year, the Cowboys playoff spot counted on a win in Week 16; unfortunately they lost after Tony Romo went down early on with a hand injury. This year, they will play for their playoff lives.Sitting at 3-5, neither...
