Pro Football Zone:
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins says that he never asked for a trade. He said he didn’t know if his agent asked for the trade or not.
I’m not sure why reports surfaced earlier in the offseason about Jenkins wanting to be traded after the Cowboys signed free agent Brandon Carr and drafting Morris Claiborne in the first round of this year’s draft, if he didn’t ask for one. Sounds like to me Jenkins is just trying to tone everything down so he can focus on trying to have a good season.

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins told reporters Monday at the Cowboy's first day of training camp that he never asked the team for a trade.
He was reportedly dissapointed that they brought in two players at his position, Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne, and perhaps thought his future with the team was in jeopardy.

After his widely-ridiculed, off-the-wall comment about wanting "me some glory hole" the other day, Jones still hasn't stopped yapping out of that big hole in the middle of his face.
"Y' all should come down to Cowboys...
IRVING, Tex. - It would be easy to understand if guard Ronald Leary, and undrafted rookie from Memphis, was seen strutting and preening his way around the mini-camp the Dallas Cowboys conducted this week.
Guess it really doesn't take much to move the center of the media universe (New York) off the Olympics and MLB Trade Deadline and on to football.
The reason they are freaking out: Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told the masses assembled at his teams training camp that "Ya'll should come to that stadium and...
Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett has no problem with Jerry Jones' emphatic comments about the NFC East-rival New York Giants, who are the defending Super Bowl champions.
During a ceremony opening the Cowboys' camp in California, Jones told about 5,000 fans that they should come to Cowboys Stadium and ''watch us beat the Giants' (butts).''
