Trying to create a mock draft is more luck than science, especially with the ability for teams to trade as each pick is selected.  Trying to plan beyond the first pick when Commissioner Goodell comes to the podium is almost impossible until you know the team that will make the pick and who is off the board at that time. In this version of my Mock Draft I will put together some possible or creative ways for teams to draft in the first round NFL Mock Draft – Version 2 1. Kansas City Chiefs (2-14): Trade the selection with the Denver Broncos for Broncos 2013 Round 1 (28), Round 2 (58), 2014 and 2015 Round 1 picks.  Broncos select Sharrif Floyd DT Florida The Broncos need to fill the hole left by Elvis Dumervil and go for it by grabbing the best defensive line man in Floyd. They are in the “win it now” mode as Peyton Manning’s window is small. 2.
