It's hamstring issues again for receiver Miles Austin, who missed 6 games last season for the same issue.
The Cowboys are being extra careful this time around, but don't think this latest strain is too serious.
Head coach Jason Garrett says he will miss definitely miss a few days, but it maybe a week. “We have to make sure we learn from experience,” Garrett said Sunday. “We have got to make sure we are somewhat cautious with him, not getting him back to soon, and then when we get him back make sure we can continue to monitor that and he is on top of it as well.”
Austin will most likely be kept out of their first preseason game against Oakland on August 13th.
Garrett thinks that Austin's pride can sometimes be a factor, as he has a tendency to always work hard and play through the pain, ignoring something that maybe getting worse.
