Two in a row baby! Yes that’s right, your Seattle Seahawks have won two games in a row, and now take that momentum heading into their bye week. Up next for the Seahawks is a show down in Miami against the Dolphins against another ex Pete Carroll star, Reggie Bush. With 6 games remaining, the Hawks look to be in a great spot, and should be able to get into the post season barring any let downs. The 49ers-Rams tie actually helped out the Hawks a lot this past weekend, as there is no way now that the 9ers can finish with the same record as Seattle, which makes the December 23rd matchup that much more important now. With that I give you my top 10!  10: Wilson getting it done For the second straight week, Russell Wilson looked like a seasoned vet in the pocket for the Seahawks. Sure he had a fumble, his first at home, but he led the team to quite a lop-sided win at the same time. I apologize for my complaining about him earlier on in the season, looks like Pete Carroll knows his stuff after all. 9: Tate continues to shine WR Golden Tate got it done once again on Sunday against the Jets with another TD reception. Even though it has taken some time for him to become a star on this team, I think the wait was worth it. With all this high priced talent a WR, it’s nice for a draft pick to finally earn his way at the wide out position. An unlikely scoring duo; Sidney Rice and Golden Tate (Photo: seahawks.com) 8: Lynch mob I’m pretty sure this guy just doesn’t stop until he gets to the 100 yard plateau each and every week. Marshawn Lynch joined Adrian Peterson as the only two backs who have reached the 1,000 yard rushing mark so far this season. And just to remind you, it is only going into week 11, and there are some pretty soft defenses coming up in the remainder of the season, Lynch could finish at the top of the league this year. 7: Rice earning a dime As part of the high priced WR talent I was speaking of earlier, Sidney Rice has finally decided to join this team for real, and catch some TD passes. This week marked two weeks in a row in which the former Viking caught a TD pass. Better late than never I guess. 6: D make fools of Jets Not that me and a couple of buddies couldn’t do the same thing, but the Hawks looked like the dominant force that scared the rest of the NFL earlier in the season once again on Sunday. For the second time this year, the Hawks gave up only a single TD. The fist was against the Dallas Cowboys way back in week 2. 5: Our Trufant is better Well, that should read our Trufant’s are better. With Marcus Trufant beating his brother Isaiah’s Jets, and our very own Desmond Trufant winning at home against Utah on Saturday night, clearly the Trufant’s that are still in the 206 are much better than the one out in Jersey. But I’m sure after the game it was all smiles for the brother’s Trufant and their family. Your NFC Defensive Player of the Week; Richard Sherman (Photo: Yahoo) 4: Sherman honored Richard Sherman was named the NFC Defensive Player of the week for Sunday’s game. Sherman had an interception, and he forced a fumble, both ending Jets drives. 3: Hawks at it again in the community Just a mere three days after the Seahawks commemorated the American Veterans on Sunday, the team was at it again, but this time for World Diabetes Day. On Wednesday, November 14th, the arches at CenturyLink Field were lit blue, in honor of WDD. 2:  Bye week blues One of my least favorite things about the NFL season is the bye week, and unfortunately, it is our turn to sit out of action this week. Thank God for fantasy football, or this weekend would be a total loss. 1: A Golden pass Is there anything this guy can’t do? With a TD reception already in his pocket on Sunday, the Hawks decided to opt for some trickery against the Jets, and the man with the Golden name got it done. Golden Tate threw a pass to Sidney Rice, for his team co-leading 6th TD of the year, on a screen pass that was destined for the end zone. Well kids, that’s it for this week. I hope, like me, you can find something to occupy your time on Sunday afternoon without any Seahawks on TV. Be back in two weeks with the Seahawks week that was after the Miami game.
