By the halftime of Monday Night Football, fantasy owners TYPICALLY know if they won their head to head matchup for the week or not.  But last night, Monday Night Football finished off Week 1 of the NFL with an exciting doubleheader which let a lot to be desired.  For the first time all season we got to look at the REAL Philadelphia Eagles offense and they were impressive.  They were snapping the ball with 25 seconds on the play clock and LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson looked as quick as ever!  Watching Shady McCoy run all over the field like that should make fantasy owners VERY happy and 184 rushing yards made him this weeks rushing leader.  He also led all RBs in touches which is a GREAT sign of things to come, as long as he stays healthy.  Michael Vick also had himself a night with 2 passing TDs and a rushing touchdown as well.  Things could have been a lot worse for Washington if this insane fumble recovery for a touchdown did not take place. The second half was a different game completely as at one point in the 4th quarter the broadcast let the viewers know that Vick had completed just one pass since half time.  Vick only ended up passing for 203 yards but rushed for 54.  DeSean Jackson and 7 catches are rarely said in the same sentence but with Jeremy Maclin out, this is Jackson's chance to shine!Robert Griffin III looked terrible in the 1st half and was still missing some wide open targets later in the game.  But he looked healthy, was escaping the pocket and did make this perfect pass for a TD to Leonard Hankerson who caught 2 of them on the night.  If RG3 is going to be a pocket passer, it looks like Hankerson is due for a big season!  He did complete 30 passes for 329 yards.Jordan Reed was the Redskins TE to note, not Fred Davis.  The rookie had 5 catches on 6 targets for 38 yards.  Pierre Garcon caught some screens and created his own but his 7 catches only went 64 yards.  Hopefully with RG3 getting his touch back after missing the entire preseason, Garcon's 11 targets will turn into some big plays.  Alfred Morris rushed the ball just 12 times, but found the endzone.  He gained just 45 yards, but expect the Redskins to get back to running the football in the coming weeks.  DON'T PANIC!I was able to watch a little bit of the 1st quarter in the San Diego Chargers vs Houston Texans game, and Phillip Rivers looked impressive.  The touch he had on the first Royal TD was beautiful.  Speaking of Eddie Royal,   he caught 2 touchdown in the red zone.  He is the smallest Chargers receiver BY FAR and yet Rivers went to him.  I don't know if this is going to be a consistent thing, but if so, non PPR guys should seriously consider adding him in deeper leagues.  I still like Vincent Brown and Malcom Floyd more.  However, when I woke up this morning, I was surprised to see that the Texans had won the game!  They came back from a 21 point deficit with 3 unanswered TDs (Brian Cushing Pick Six) and a game winning field goal from Randy Bullock as time expired.  Rivers threw 4 scores on the night but only completed 14 passes, great for non PPR leagues I guess but he didn't even throw for 200 yards. Brown and Ryan Mathews also caught touchdowns.  Mathews rushed for just 33 yards on 13 carries in the loss.  Matt Schaub completed 34 passes for 346 yards and 2 of his 3 TDs went to TE Owen Daniels.  Andre Johnson caught 12 passes for 146 yard but failed to score a TD.  One thing to note, rookie DeAndre Hopkins caught 5 of his 6 targets for 66 yards, including a 30 yarder. As expected, Arian Foster and Ben Tate split carries (~70/30) but it was Tate that averaged 6.1 yards per carry while Foster barely got 3.  Expect Foster to get better each week as he gets healthy.
