The Dallas Cowboys had five individuals with plays of 40-plus yards in the Thanksgiving win against Oakland: running backs Tashard Choice, Felix Jones and Marion Barber, wide receiver Miles Austin and tight end Jason Witten. To put the performance into historical perspective, consider the last team to have five individuals with plays of 40-play yards was the 1989 Chicago Bears, in a 47-27 win against Detroit on Sept. 24. The names are not quite Hall of Famers. Neal Anderson had a 53-yard run. Quarterback Mike Tomczak had completions of 46 yards to Dennis McKinnon, 43 yards to Cap Boso, 55 yards to Glen Kozlowski and 43 yards to Ron Morris. The Bears won the game to go 3-0 but finished at 6-10 with an offense that finished 10th in the league for scoring.
