According to DallasCowboys.com, Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne hasn’t passed the necessary concussion tests to play in this week’s game against the Steelers. Defensive coordinator Rob Ryan talked about the condition of Claiborne on Friday after practice. “He’s hanging in there,” Ryan said. “He got a little dizzy (Thursday). So I’m not sure about his availability for this game. I know he’s doing everything he can. He’s got to pass these (concussion) tests.” Claiborne felt confident on Friday that he would be cleared to play and went as far as to say that he is preparing as if he will suit up against the Steelers. “Right now I’m feeling pretty good,” Claiborne said. “It’s a day-by-day process.” However, he did confirm that that he still had one remaining test to pass before being cleared, but said that he was unsure whether he would participate in the test on Friday or Saturday. “Yeah, I have the impact test to do,” Claiborne said. “Hopefully when I do that I ace it.” With Claiborne still not cleared to play, I really don’t think he’ll be ready to go for Sunday’s game against the Steelers.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";
