Brandon Jacobs signed with the 49ers in the offseason after spending his entire career with the Giants. One 6-year-old Giants fan was so sad to see him go, he sent Jacobs $3.36 to convince him to re-sign with the team after being told that the defending Super Bowl champs couldn’t afford to keep him.

The fan letter was sent to Jacobs by the young boy’s mother, on behalf of her son. This was his message to Jacobs:

Dear Mr. Jacobs,

So you could go to the Giants, here is my money.

Love, Joe.

Naturally, Jacobs was touched by the letter. He sent the following tweets:

And once again we’ve seen that young fans are often the best. Well, unless they’re Eagles fans.

I'm a Niner fan and I don't usually write to other teams, but this story is so cute.
Ooops, I'm sorry I don't know how my psychology homework ended up on the screen, I was trying to put my pic.

49ers trying defensive tackle Tukuafu at fullback in practice

San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh has gained a reputation for using players in non-traditional roles, and he may be doing it again with Will Tukuafu, a defensive tackle who has been spending time at fullback during practice. On Tuesday, Tukuafu caught a pass while coming out of the backfield, and the 6-4-, 293-pound Tukuafu has been getting quite a bit of practice time...

Like a good child...
