Sunday night was a special night for Baltimore Ravens fans, many of who filled the streets of Baltimore to celebrate their team’s Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers. As if winning a championship isn’t thrilling enough, one fan was captured on camera making the celebration an even more memorable experience. As you can see at the 38-second mark of the video above that was posted on Reddit, a fan was recording some of the festivities when he came across a man who was down on one knee proposing to his girlfriend. Judging by her reaction, it’s safe to say the answer was yes. My question is this: was this dude proposing after the game win or lose? I’m guessing he had some sort of alternate proposal plan in place. If his girlfriend is a big Ravens fan and he asked her to marry him after a Super Bowl loss, there’s a good chance he would have ended up like this guy. Bursting the NFL playoff expansion bubble

Hey, I have an idea. Let’s invite every NFL team into the playoffs! Sure. Why not? Talk about television revenue! So what if the Super Bowl falls on Mother’s Day? OK, that’s exaggeration for effect. But when Roger Goodell and the league start talking like expanding the postseason is only a matter of time, one must stop and consider if they care more about making money or...

Gregg Popovich is one of the best coaches in basketball history, having led the San Antonio Spurs to five NBA championships since 1999. He is apparently compensated accordingly. Stephen Strasburg is hurt again

On Tuesday night, Washington Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg left his start after just three innings thanks to a shoulder injury. Strasburg appeared to be in some discomfort starting in the first inning, but continued to pitch before leaving early. It is yet another set back for a guy who seems to always be getting injured. Strasburg is set to see a chiropractor on...

Has Blake Griffin taken the next step?

Watching Blake Griffin play basketball over the past two games really got me thinking. This was, at least in my opinion, one of the most overrated players in the NBA over the past couple years. Sure Griffin is 6’10” and 251, but too often we saw him get thrown off the low post by smaller, more physical big men. The outside game was surely there, and Griffin has always possessed...
