According to Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick could end up with the Buffalo Bills next season.

Though the team publicly denied being interested in Vick in 2009, a source close to the quarterback insists the Bills were a suitor. Additionally, current Bills starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is a nice player, but hardly a franchise guy. The Bills are built to win as soon as possible. Adding Vick to a team that has a solid offensive line would be an immediate boost. Also, coach Chan Gailey has experience working with mobile quarterbacks from his days in Pittsburgh with Kordell Stewart. Vick is far more talented than Stewart ever was, so Gailey could easily make this work.

The Bills are definitely not sold on Fitzpatrick as their long-term answer.  There’s a reason general manager Buddy Nix has brought up taking a quarterback early on in the 2013 draft.

If they chose to pick up Vick and dump Fitzpatrick, they’d have a better chance of winning next season, which could give a rookie quarterback some time to develop.

  • Michael Vick should hit the city limits of Buffalo (Orchard Park I think) and keep going deep into Canada! Also-I hear that the Russians are thinking of starting up professional football American style-who better than Michael Vick to take them to the next level??!! Basically Buffalo is so bad that it would be an additional disgrace to have him hold the position of the former great Jim Kelly! Bills need to pass on Vick and also fire Chaney while they are at it!! Have a nice day!
