The Seattle Seahawks have announced that quarterback Brady Quinn has agreed to terms on a contract that will make him their new back up behind Russell Wilson.

Quinn played pretty well last season for the Chiefs.  He threw for over 60 percent, but also only had 2 touchdown passes compared to 8 interceptions.

Substandard field general Brady Quinn agreed with the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday to backup Russell Wilson. The 28-year-old Quinn, nabbed out of Notre Dame by the Cleveland Browns with the 22nd pick in the 2007 draft, has now been employed by four organizations. Before being chosen by the Browns, Quinn established the quarterback record for weightlifting at the NFL Scouting Combine...

In depth 2013: Seattle Seahawks

Division rival San Francisco went to the Super Bowl in 2012, but Seattle scored more points, allowed fewer and, in the process, found a likely future star to be the team’s signal caller in the process. Russell Wilson arrived on the scene via a third round draft pick. He surprised most experts by beating out Matt Flynn for the starting job and he improved all season, earning a Pro...

NFL responds to Richard Sherman’s Adderall comments

We reported earlier today the Seahawks’ cornerback Richard Sherman told the Vancouver Sun that half of the players of the NFL take Adderall. The NFL has since released a statement to TMZ regarding Sherman’s comments. “The comments are ill-informed and inaccurate.  Adderall is easily detected under current testing and will result in a suspension absent an approved therapeutic...

Seattle! Get on board with Brady Quinn being a Seahawks QB!

Seahawks add a vet It seems so odd to me to use the term “VETERAN QUARTERBACK” while referring to Brady Quinn.  It seems as if it were only a couple drafts ago when we were talking about the young man entering the draft from Notre Dame. It is hard for me to believe that he already has 6 years of NFL experience, for three different teams. There are several things to be excited...

NFL Responds to Richard Sherman's Adderall Comment

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has been known for shooting his mouth off. He has a run in with Tom Brady, a Twitter feud with Darrelle Revis, and a memorable 'debate' with Skip Bayless that looked more like the two class bullies that were afraid to fight sniping at each other. Recently he opened his mouth again, this time calling out his fellow professionals...

Richard Sherman: Half of the NFL uses Adderall

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman tested positive for Adderall last season.  Which happens to be on the NFL’s banned substance list.  He ended up appealing his suspension and had it overturned due to errors in the chain of custody of his urine sample. Sherman told the Vancouver Sun that half of the players in the NFL take Adderall. “About half the league takes it...

Wide receiver Brett Swain was signed to a two-year contract by the Seahawks today after going through a tryout at the VMAC. From the teams official website: Quote: Swain, 27, entered the league in 2008, when the Packers drafted the San Diego State wide-out in the seventh round. He caught six passes for the Packers in 2010. Swain also played with the 49ers...

Sea-Mock: Draft Predictions For The Seattle Seahawks

With the 2013 NFL Draft right around the corner, I thought I would concoct a mock draft for the Seattle Seahawks.  If you have any comments or would like to send me an email to spar, I'd encourage you to do so at my email, BJSmith6970@gmail.com. There are several approaches to drafting: horizontal drafting or vertical drafting.  When you horizontal draft, it indicates...

How Much More Can Russell Wilson Improve?

When the 2012 NFL season kicked off, no one gave Russell Wilson a ton of thought because he was scheduled to be playing behind Matt Flynn. However, Coach Pete Carroll decided early on that Wilson would be the guy to lead the offense. That decision paid off and helped Seattle get into the playoffs. The question is, can Wilson improve, or was he experiencing some beginner’s luck...
