Titus Young has had more than his fair share of chances with the Detroit Lions, but if he continues to tweet ridiculous things throughout the offseason he may wind up forcing the team to part ways with him. Earlier this week, Young went on a Twitter rant about how he doesn’t want to play anymore if he doesn’t start seeing more balls thrown his way. He also said that he has never run the wrong route.

Those tweets have since been deleted, but that didn’t stop the former Boise State Bronco from tweeting another gem on Friday morning. This time, Young took aim at the Lions for apparently threatening to cut him and not doing anything about it.

Oh yeah, and he also thinks that Canton may be calling when his astonishing NFL career comes to an end:

At this point, it’s starting to sound like Young wants out of Detroit. He reportedly sabotaged his own offense this past season, which was merely another blemish on what has been a two-year career of turmoil with the Lions. I think the media has been more responsible for the so-called “threats” that Titus is going to be cut, but he obviously feels as though the team has been flirting with the idea.

Most players would appreciate the fact that their team has chosen to stick with them through several disciplinary issues, but Young continues to act like a child by going public with his frustrations. The more he talks and tweets, the less of a choice he gives head coach Jim Schwartz.

Titus Young continues to go off

The Detroit Lions’ Titus Young can’t seriously think what he is doing is a good idea. Young’s antics over the past few months may reflect a guy that wants to leave Detroit. They also reflect the actions of a kid that is killing his chances for a shot to play elsewhere. Young while talented, never ran up a bucketful of stats that would suggest that he will receive the superstar...

The Lions were a huge disappointment last season, what can they do in the draft to improve? Mock Draft 1.0

The Lions need help on defense and now with the Best and Young situation, they need help on offense too.  Where should they go in the draft? Here is my first look at the NFL Draft.  There are a lot of teams that need quarterbacks this year.  The problem, there are not enough QB's in the draft. I expect to see teams trying to trade down, will they have any takers...

Lions WR Titus Young is back to his antics on Twitter, this time he asks to be cut

Three days after saying that he’s never run the wrong route, and that he doesn’t want to play football anymore if he isn’t going to get the ball, Titus Young is back to his antics on Twitter.  It should be a pretty telling sign about this guy’s character that he isn’t following a single person on Twitter, not even his teammates.Never played the game for d money— Titus...

Lions WR Young at it again on Twitter

Titus Young Continues Immature Twitter Rant About Lions, Says He’s ‘Tired of the Threats’

Titus Young once compared himself to Barry Sanders, apparently forgetting that Sanders is one of the NFL’s all-time greats and that he doesn’t even play the same position as Sanders. Don’t worry, though, Young’s stupidity didn’t stop there. Young, who fought a teammate in college and sucker punched Lions teammate Louis Delmas in May, was sent home before Detroit’s Thanksgiving...

Titus Young on Twitter: If you’re going to cut me, cut me

Troubled Lions wide receiver Titus Young was back verbally vomiting all over Twitter again Friday morning. Titus Young Tells Lions Don’t Threaten Him, Just Cut Him

Titus has had a lot to say over these past few days. He is talented enough that even if he is cut by the Lions, he probably would get another opportunity, but his mouth may make it harder for him. Detroit Lions WR Titus Young says he is “tired of threats”

Detroit Lions WR Titus Young wants the Lions to fire him – or at least it seems that way. Young took to Twitter to vent — less than a week after he threatened to quit. Coach Jim Schwartz said the previous complaining was not a good idea… but that did not stop Young from his latest comment. On Twitter Young wrote: Oh I’m not done, if y’all going to cut me let me go. First things first, I'm the realest I think the title makes it sound a little worse than it really was. That said, the title is completely accurate. While Grousbeck said some positive things -- calling Rondo...

Bill Simmons dares ESPN to punish him for ripping Goodell?

ESPN’s Bill Simmons sometimes goes off the rails in very un-ESPN-like fashion. As a result, he’s part of a small group of key faces at the Worldwide Leader who are sometimes penalized by their employer for going too far. It’s debatable whether Simmons went too far with his latest diatribe against NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday, but it does appear as though — in...

Photo Credit: Jets/Facebook After the New York Jets suffered their Monday Night loss to the Chicago Bears (27-19), two main weaknesses remain evident. One, the Jets secondary has underachieved tremendously being one of the worst in the league. Two, Geno Smith continues to battle with inconsistency throwing the football.
