My Top 10 Current Quarterbacks

Posted October 31, 2008 on pudge50's Blog:
I made a list of my all time top QBs so I figured I could go with the QBs still playing. Some of the up and coming Qbs not making the list but may be there in the future: Matt Ryan, Trent Edwards, Aaron Rodgers. The QBs I thought about putting up there but couldn't find a place for them in the top 10: Kurt Warner, Matt Hasselbeck, Matt Schaub. Players who will never make my list for unknown personal reasons: Phillip Rivers, Phillip Rivers, Phillip Rivers.

    Peyton Manning

The guy has the skills to single handedly lead the offense. He calls the plays he changes the plays. Yes he's struggling this year but overall I'd take him over anyone in the game today.

  • 2
    Brett Favre

He's still playing and he has better numbers than anyone in the game. Sooner or later he'll retire and Manning can pass him up but until then he's got to be #2.

  • 3
    Jay Cutler

I'm a Broncos fan and I can be bias but he's a stud. He has a cannon for an arm, he can run and throw outside the pocket. If he can reduce his mistakes he could become a legend once they get a good solid team around him. He reminds me of Favre with his aggressive and sometimes risky play.

    Drew Brees

I've always liked him and when San Diego shipped him out for Rivers I began to love him.

  • 5
    Tom Brady

I don't want to put on any of my list but the way New England looks without him makes me think he is that good and probably should be in the top 3 but I just can't pull myself to do it. He'll have to settle for top 5. I'm sure it will break his heart....lol.

    Donovan McNabb

He's a strong Qb who's hard to bring down. If he ever got all the tools he needed around him he would easily lead this team back to another Super Bowl. Westbrook is a great tool to have and hopefully DeSean Jackson and a healthy Kevin Curtis will give him the edge to make it this year.

  • 7
    Tony Romo

Well the team play with him out just shows you how important he is to the Cowboys.

  • 8
    Ben Roethlisburger

A stud from the get go. He takes a pounding and keeps throwing the ball. Ben has the size that's hard to bring down and he can lead the team to victory on any given drive.

  • 9
    Carson Palmer

Palmer would be a better off with another team or some players who could control themselves off the field.

  • 10
    Eli Manning

Coming into his own. He is no longer Peyton's brother. He is Super Bowl Champion Eli Manning.
