Rookie tackle Nate Solder was added to the Patriots' injury report Saturday after suffering a concussion. The team did not disclose how he was injured, but they did conduct a walkthrough Saturday. Solder will have to pass a concussion test in order to play Sunday against the Jets. Solder has been used in a rotational basis with right tackle Sebastian Vollmer, who has missed five games this season with a back injury. Vollmer has played in the team's last two games, though, and he is listed as questionable after practicing on a limited basis all week. The Patriots didn't have...

The clock is ticking for Patriots OL Marcus Cannon…
More than two weeks ago, the Patriots had cancer survivor and offensive lineman Marcus Cannon practice, which was pretty cool after he began the year on the reserve/Non-Football Injury List. It was a touching situation.
Yet Cannon is allowed to practice for just three weeks before the team has to decide whether to activate him or not. If it doesn’t, Cannon will have three weeks...
Hello from MetLife Stadium before Patriots-Jets…
After an interesting train ride (here, here, and here), we’ve arrived at MetLife Stadium, the massive structure that houses the Jets and Giants. Today, you may have heard, it’s the Jets.
They play the Patriots at 8:20 p.m. on NBC, a huge showdown that can’t get here fast enough. Gearing up for game-time are a few Patriots on the field working out. The most notable is OL Nate...
Bill Belichick to Tom Brady 117 Wins: Greatest Combination Ever
It is often difficult to quantify greatness, but when the Patriots beat their rivals the New York Jets with Bill Belichick as the head coach and Tom Brady as the starting quarterback, they will pass Dan Marino and Don Shula for the most wins of all time for a quarterback-head coach combination.
While, the Belichick-Brady combination was not quite able to tie the benchmark of an...
Week 11 Risers and Fallers: Brady and Belichick make history
We shouldn’t have doubted them.
Three games in a row? Really?
This is Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.
The dynamic duo who don’t lose back-to-back-to-back games.
Skeptics who believed Belichick had lost his touch, or Brady had begun his inevitable decline were proven wrong Sunday night, myself included.
Led by an undermanned, scrap heap defense, the Patriots rolled to a 37...
After two losses, the Patriots “are still trying to find” their identity… and links!
The Patriots have lost two straight, and the Jets have won three straight. Does it seem like two teams going in opposite directions?
Well, yeah, but time will tell if that continues. Either way, it seems the Patriots are at a crossroads. And that will happen at MetLife Stadium tonight — on enemy turf. What’s weird, though, is that it seems the product the Pats have put on the...
A Haynesworth-less Patriots To Try and Stop Snide
For the fourth time in seven games, the New England Patriots take on a team from the Empire State. This week’s match-up against the New York Jets not only will break up the three way tie for first place in the AFC East, but should also show a preview of a possible late round playoff game. The Patriots cut ties with the baggage laden Albert Haynesworth after he suited up for just six...
Patriots take AFC East lead
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Tom Brady threw three touchdown passes, including two to Rob Gronkowski, and the New England Patriots took control of the AFC East with a convincing 37-16 victory against the Jets in New York.
Does Ocho Have a Future With the Pats?
Pressure has been mounting on underachievers in the New England Patriots fold lately. Albert Haynesworth, who obviously belonged in that category, is no longer a team member. He has been picked up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following his release from the Pats.Chad Ochocinco, everyone’s favorite ex-Bengal and media star, is also one of the Pats’ underachievers and thus his position...
