Instead, this division has turned into one of the more disappointing division since many had high hopes for the New Orleans Saints. The Saints of course have record-setting quarterback Drew Brees certainly gave New Orleans some high hopes heading into the year. While most experts imagine a nine or ten-win season, they look like they may be losing that many games this season. The defense has easily been the biggest disappointment and that is because they are dead last in yards allowed (456 YPG) and third to last in points allowed (30.8 PPG). The players are simply not performing that well, but the talent was expected to take a major dip heading into the year. Jon Vilma is still out and the likes of Will Smith can dominate witho...

Miscues ultimately plagued Bucs in loss to Saints

The Buccaneers were determined to give another loss to the New Orleans Saints and Drew Brees. Unfortunately for them, the Saints found holes in the Bucs defense throughout the first half that lead to a New Orleans win, 35-28. Tampa Bay started fast with an interception by Ronde Barber off a deflection by Gerald McCoy. On the ensuing play, Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman found wide...

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Three Bold Predictions

The New Orleans Saints have been cursed all year.  Missed last second field goals, poorly timed interceptions from a QB that normally does a good job protecting the football, and one of the craziest offseasons in NFL history have added up to a one win season. The only good moment for the Saints came at the start of their win against the San Diego Chargers, when Drew Brees broke...

Joe Morgan showed better balance on Sunday than Aly Raisman at the 2012 Summer Olympics. The Saints' wide receiver caught a deep pass from Drew Brees against the Buccaneers and made his way into the end zone after two defenders bounced off of him. Morgan somehow kept his footing and made sure his knee stayed off the turf for the 48-yard score. It was Morgan...

New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay BuccaneersNew Orleans:  The Saints come out of their bye week unexpectedly in the NFC South cellar, owners of a dismal 1-4 record.  Luckily for fantasy owners, the Saints troubles have mostly just been on the defensive side of the ball, as Drew Brees is once again fantasy’s number one QB in terms of per game production. He’s mostly done it with...
