New Orleans Saints’ Darren Sharper gives comedy a go

In the madness that is the two weeks before the draft, this should come as a palate cleanser for Saints fans sick of pre-speculation. Saints safety Darren Shaper’s recent antics will ensure that Saints fans are distracted from the upcoming draft for the time being. Sharper, who is known as one of the greatest safeties in NFL history, is getting old and seeing his football skills diminish, so he’s giving the acting/comedy industry a try while there is no football. Sharper co-starts in a digital video, titled “A Series of Unfortunate People,” to the dismay of anyone who watches it. Saying that the video is bad doesn’t do justice to how bad it really is. Hollywood has been a target of lots of athletes who are past their prime or hitting retirement and it looks like Sharper is no exception to the rule.
