A day after the Giants seemingly replaced Rocky Bernard by signing Gabe Watson, the Giants were able to agree on a deal with Bernard and he was back at practice tonight.
The Giants and Bernard were unable to work out a renegotiation last week, so the Giants cut him on Friday. Apparently unable to find a job else where for the type of money he wanted, he is back in blue.
The battle to replace Barry Cofield begins today. With Linval Joseph and Marvin Austin having already competed for the job since Saturday, things get a bit more dicey with the addition of Bernard to that mix.
