Found April 15, 2013 on PPR Fantasy Football:
The New York Jets apparently aren’t finished retooling their offensive backfield after the signing of Mike Goodson. The Jets are interested in trading fro running back Chris Ivory of the New Orleans Saints, who has shown flashes of great potential but hasn’t gotten enough touches to truly cement what kind of player he is. John Idzik isn’t willing to give up a second round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, as he shouldn’t be, but the Jets will give up a late round selection for Chris Ivory. The New York Jets are interested in completing a trade with the New Orleans Saints for Chris Ivory and the Saints are also interested in making a deal. Chris Ivory ended up getting squeezed out of the picture in the Saints backfield, but would have a great chance at getting consistent touches with the Jets. He has only 256 career carries for 1,307 yards. Even though he has been afforded little opportunity so far, the Saints tagged Chris Ivory with a second round tender as a restricted free agent. The Je...

New York Jets To Re-sign OLB Calvin Pace

The New York Jets have reportedly agreed to terms with recently released OLB Calvin Pace on a one year deal. While this move may not be entirely popular among Jets fans, bringing Pace back without long term ties is a sensible move for a variety of reasons. While Pace has seen his pass rushing abilities diminish over the last few seasons due to a decline in overall speed and explosiveness...

Jets reportedly desperate to unload Tebow

As you might've heard, the Jets are virtually certain to release Tim Tebow, but not before exhausting all trade opportunities. If they seem desperate to unload their personal punt protector ... well, that's because they are. Really, really desperate. As Mike Klis of the Denver Post writes, the Jets would like something -- anything -- in return for Tebow. Falling under...

Jets Bring Back Calvin Pace

With all the talk about how Rex Ryan is reportedly "smitten," with DE/OLB Barkevious Mingo, John Idzik quietly came to an agreement with a different outside linebacker. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Calvin Pace has signed a one-year deal to stay with the team. This move will by no means stop the Jets from drafting Mingo, if Ryan really is as smitten as they say...

Buccaneers say 'no' to Mark Sanchez as part of Darrelle Revis deal

Don’t worry Tim Tebow, it seems the New York Jets do not want Mark Sanchez either. According to Mike Garafolo of USA Today, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers turned down a trade scenario that included Mark Sanchez.. The Buccaneers already have one young quarterback to figure out in Josh Freeman, and he doesn’t cost $8.25 in 2013. The Jets are desperately trying to unload two quarterbacks...

New York Jets: Why Sanchez to the Buccaneers isn’t going to happen

On Friday, ProFootballTalk.com reported that the New York Jets have explored including Mark Sanchez in the potential Darrelle Revis trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That’s when the tweets hit the fan. Half of Jets Nation instantly became excited, while the other half is so jaded, they are physically unable to believe anything good could ever happen to this organization. Unfortunately...

Jets Reportedly Interested In Chris Ivory

The New York Jets are reportedly interested in trading for New Orleans Saints Restricted Free Agent Running Back, Chris Ivory. The Jets hosted Ivory for a visit on Friday, but are unlikely to sign him to an offer sheet due to the second round tender New Orleans placed on him earlier this offseason. New York would prefer to exchange a later round draft pick for Ivory, rather than...

Mark Sanchez in Conversations to be a Buccaneer?

Mike Florio, of ProFootballTalk, has let it be known that Mark Sanchez’s name has come up in conversations regarding a possible trade between the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This trade is the long-talked about move to send Darrelle Revis to the Bucs in exchange for draft picks. The new development, being explored by Jets GM John Idzik, would possibly send Mark Sanchez...

Jets Won’t Trade Darrelle Revis Until They Check Out His Knee

The Jets have botched this in every single way. It looked like they had a good deal on the table from Tampa, but they have decided to declined for now. Revis has been rehabbing away from Jets facility, but he has to come back, if he wants to collect his bonus money. Revis is going to leave after this season regardless, so the Jets would be wise to get something for him while they...

2013 NFL Mock Draft News and Notes by DJ

NFL Mock Draft News and Notes by DJ BoyerMark Sanchez…What is Going on?Maybe one of the most confusing stories now is the involvement/no involvement of Sanchez being tossed into the pot for Tampa Bay in the proposed Darrelle Revis trade. It does seem like this is legitimate and the Jets are not trying to force the hand of another team in order to make some type of move. Looks like...
